What are Elder Care Services?
HRC’s Elder Care Services assist seniors with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote continued independence. The role of an elder care provider adapts to the specific needs of each senior. Providers receive both general and specific training tailored to the seniors they work with, ensuring the highest quality of care.

What are the Benefits of Elder Care Services?
The primary goal of Elder Care Services is to maintain or improve the quality of life for seniors. Our providers take a person-centered approach, focusing on the unique needs of each senior as determined by care managers, family members, and the seniors themselves. A quality elder care provider is someone the senior looks forward to working with and can rely on, forming meaningful relationships that offer companionship and socialization while meeting day-to-day needs.

Assistance with daily tasks from an elder care provider can enable seniors to stay in the comfort of their own homes. HRC’s holistic approach allows each senior to maintain their independence on their own terms.

HRC's Elder Care program aims to support aging residents in Wayne County. Our goals are to promote continued and increased independence, reduce social isolation, and increase access to essential services. Through this program, we strive to help seniors remain in their homes, avoiding the need for long-term care and nursing facilities.
